MIDAS is built to be private by default. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have.
Account: the name you choose and a one-way hashed password — we never store or can see your actual password. Your activity: the bets, notes, and bet-slip images you add; your sim/game activity; and preferences (odds format, favorite book). Basic technical data: minimal logs (e.g. IP for security/rate-limiting and error diagnostics). If you buy something, our payment processor handles your card — we never receive or store full card numbers.
To run the service: track and auto-grade your bets, compute your record, power the sim, and (only if you opt in) show your profile on the public leaderboard. We use security logs to protect accounts and error logs to fix bugs.
We don't sell your data. We don't run third-party advertising trackers. We never publicly display real-money dollar amounts you've wagered — public views show units only. We don't share your individual bets with anyone unless you opt in to make your profile public, and even then your bet detail is private by default until you choose to show it.
Only trusted service providers needed to operate MIDAS, under confidentiality obligations — and when required by law. Nothing else. These include: a payment processor for purchases; hosting; and AI providers (Google and Anthropic) that process the bet-slip images and chat messages you submit, solely to read your slip or answer your question. These providers do not use your submitted content to train their models, and images are processed only to extract your bet — not stored by them for other purposes.
We use local storage/a login token to keep you signed in and remember preferences. We don't use third-party ad cookies.
You can edit or remove any bet, toggle your profile and bet-detail privacy anytime, request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account and data. Email privacy@trackmidas.com and we'll act promptly — a right you have to hunt for the address to exercise is not much of a right.
Passwords are salted and hashed (scrypt); we apply reasonable safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
MIDAS is not for anyone under 21. Every account must confirm at sign-up that its holder is 21 or older, and we record that confirmation. We don't knowingly collect data from minors — if you believe a minor has given us data, email privacy@trackmidas.com and we will delete it.
MIDAS is operated by Golden Rhino LLC, which is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
We'll post updates here with a new date. To access, export or delete your data, or for any privacy question: privacy@trackmidas.com — this address is monitored for data-rights requests specifically, so it will not sit in a support queue. Anything else: support@trackmidas.com.
